With its SUW silage field transfer trailer, specialist vehicle producer HAWE from Lower Saxony offers a completely new concept for silage harvesting. The SUW, with its tyres designed to avoid soil structure damage, remains in the field whilst fast trucks handle road transport of grass to silage storage locations.

And outwith the silage harvest season the new SUW is the ideal vehicle for filling biogas plants where silage cannot be stored directly at the plant.

Load transfer speed is 9 to11 cubic metres per minute. Available are two SUW models: tandem or tridem trailers with 45 or 52 (60) cubic metre capacity.

Your advantages:

  • Two models: SUW 4000 with tandem running gear and 45 cubic metre capacity as well as SUW 5000 with tridem running gear and 52 (60) cubic metre capacity, both for tractors of from 250 HP/ 185 kW
  • Based on experience gained with the proven HAWE silage transport trailers
  • Load transfer speeds of 9 to11 cubic metres per minute (maize)
  • Perfect expediting of chopped material via flow-control gate, three metering rotors and two transporting augers into the discharge blower
  • Discharge blower directly powered via pto shaft = maximum mechanical efficiency
  • Discharge tower can be rotated 280 degrees for load transfer to left or right
  • Discharge distance means material can be blown over ditches or other obstacles up to three metres wide
  • Strong 24 mm timber profile board walls for long working life, even with corrosive load material
  • Tyres that protect ground structure are standard equipment, different options available
  • Mechanical suspension standard for running gear, hydraulic suspension systems available
  • Hydraulic drawbar suspension standard
  • Hydraulic sidewall raising with tridem SUW 5000 for maximum 60 cubic metre volumes (optional)
  • Optional rear-unloading
